Gamma Decalactone

Gamma decalactone is similar to gamma un-decalactone with its peachy like note. It is a characteristic molecule in osmanthus absolute and recreations of gardenia. Versatile. Blends well with other fruity lactones such as gamma undecalactone and gamma nonalactone.

• Subtly different than gamma undecalactone, a slightly greener profile, less ripe

Blends well with typical gourmand materials. Bridge osmanthus absolute to richer fruity notes or play off its green back-character with other greens to make a fresh and juicy hyper-realistic accord of apricots, coconut, and tropical fruits.
